Description

Configure and support SAP FS-RI reinsurance solutions for treaty and facultative structures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional SAP FS-RI solutions.
• Configure treaty and facultative reinsurance, including proportional and non-proportional structures.
• Manage premium calculation, estimations, postings, claims, recoveries, and settlements.
• Prepare functional specifications and support SIT, UAT, and production defect resolution.
• Ensure accurate reinsurance accounting and postings to SAP S/4HANA Finance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of SAP experience with 3+ years of hands-on SAP FS-RI.
• Deep knowledge of Treaty & Facultative reinsurance, Ceded and Assumed structures.
• Functional knowledge of claims, commissions, UPR, reinstatement premiums, and accounting.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR) and SAP FS-CD.
• Ability to analyze posting logic, document flow, and reconciliation issues.
• Basic ABAP debugging and log analysis skills.
• Experience supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Insurance/Reinsurance industry experience is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP and non-SAP system interfaces.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and backlog management.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and support knowledge transfer.
