Description

Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP environments including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and PI/PO.

Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, performing regular kernel upgrades, patching, and support package applications. Execute system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure stability. Manage SAP transports, client copies, system refreshes, and user authorizations. Administer databases including SAP HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server while managing backups and disaster recovery protocols. Collaborate with functional and development teams to resolve technical issues and maintain operational documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO) and perform kernel upgrades and patching.
• Execute system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure environment stability.
• Manage SAP transports, client copies, system refreshes, and user authorizations.
• Administer SAP HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server databases, including backups and disaster recovery.

Required Skills

• 2–8 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture and the NetWeaver platform.
• Direct experience with SAP HANA and traditional RDBMS like Oracle or SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and PI/PO.
• Familiarity with OS-level administration on Linux, Unix, or Windows.
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, transport management, and system landscape design.

Preferred Skills

• SAP Certified Technology Associate in Basis or HANA.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
