Description

You will manage the full lifecycle of SAP HANA database systems, from installation and configuration to performance tuning and high availability setup.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and configure SAP HANA databases, including the HANA Cockpit and high-availability scenarios.
• Monitor system performance, tune SQL statements using Planviz, and optimize table compression and partitioning.
• Execute database restores, recoveries, and refreshes while managing SSL certificates and security settings.
• Troubleshoot P1 and P2 incidents, performing root cause analysis on replication issues and system errors.
• Implement data provisioning via SDA/SDI and integrate the database with third-party applications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on SAP HANA Administration experience.
• Deep technical expertise in SAP HANA database architecture, lifecycle management, and HA setup.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting, stored procedures, triggers, and hints management.
• Experience with SAP HANA Cloud (BTP-Cloud Foundry) and scale-up/scale-out scenarios.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work independently on complex technical problems.
• Ability to handle critical production issues and manage database security.

Preferred Skills

• SAP HANA Certification.
• Experience with SAP Basis administration.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA DB Archiving.
