Description

Lead technical implementations for SAP HANA, Databricks, and Azure data integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage scalable ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Blob Storage.
• Orchestrate data workflows involving SAP sources, ensuring robust error handling and performance tuning.
• Develop custom data processing scripts and integration logic using Python and PySpark.
• Execute large-scale SAP data extraction, transformation, and migration tasks.
• Optimize data jobs within SAP BODS/Data Services, including complex mappings and CDC scenarios.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and integration.
• Hands-on expertise with Databricks and Delta Lake for scalable pipelines.
• Proficiency in PySpark and Spark SQL for data development.
• Deep understanding of SAP HANA architecture and data modeling.
• Experience building ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Strong knowledge of Python for custom data transformations.
• Expertise in SAP Data Services (BODS) and handling SAP-specific data types.
• Practical experience with data profiling, validation, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Azure security, including IAM, RBAC, and VNet configuration.

Preferred Skills

• Resolve Azure networking issues related to firewalls, VPNs, and VNets to maintain pipeline stability.
