Description

You will design and implement SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) and data archiving solutions for SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure SAP ILM Retention Management, Retention Warehouse, and Data Destruction processes to meet regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain Archive Objects, Retention Rules, and Destruction Policies across SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems.
• Develop and enhance ABAP programs, BADIs, and User Exits to support custom archiving and data destruction workflows.
• Integrate SAP ILM solutions with OpenText Content Server/xECM and external certified storage platforms.
• Execute end-to-end data archiving, retrieval, and destruction activities while ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and audit standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of SAP experience with 3+ years of hands-on SAP ILM and Data Archiving implementation.
• Strong proficiency in SAP ILM, Retention Management, and Archive Administration (SARA).
• Expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments, including data lifecycle assessments.
• Technical skills in ABAP Development, including custom reports and interfaces for archiving.
• Experience integrating SAP with OpenText ECM/xECM and configuring ILM Store.
• Knowledge of SAP Basis fundamentals for archive storage configuration and transport management.
• Ability to prepare functional design documents, conduct unit/integration testing, and support UAT and production deployment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP IS-U, FI-CA, or SAP CRM/C4C Data Privacy Protection (DPP).
• Background in utility industry implementations or large-scale data retention programs.
