Own the design, configuration, and governance of SAP MDG EAM solutions for global asset master data across S/4HANA landscapes.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure the MDG EAM data model (USMD_EAM), including entity types, attributes, UI groupings, and custom extensions.
• Define and implement BRF+ based workflows for Equipment and Functional Location, including dynamic routing based on asset criticality and plant.
• Establish data governance frameworks, RACI models, and operating models for the asset master lifecycle.
• Design and build custom Fiori applications for asset creation, change, and mass maintenance with role-based layouts.
• Configure Data Replication Framework (DRF) and IDoc/SOA services for synchronization with S/4HANA, Maximo, GIS, and IoT systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an SAP MDG EAM Functional Consultant.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA EAM and MDG Hub vs Co deployment architectures.
• Proven experience configuring USMD_EAM data models, including key mappings and harmonization strategies.
• Strong proficiency in BRF+ for workflow design, validation logic, and derivation rules.
• Experience designing custom Fiori apps and managing field control logic.
• Knowledge of Data Quality Management (DQM) for duplicate detection and standardization.
• Ability to lead data migration, cutover strategies, and post-migration reconciliation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy asset structure harmonization and classification similarity.
• Background in implementing segregation of duties and audit compliance controls.
