Description

You will own the functional design and governance strategy for SAP MDG and Central Finance initiatives, bridging business requirements with technical execution.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Act as the central liaison between business leaders, data stewards, and IT teams to drive consensus on master data governance standards.
• Define the scope, business value, and functional architecture for governance proposals, translating MDM strategies into clear executive presentations.
• Design and standardize governance workflows and master data processes aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Compile exhaustive documentation of functional requirements to ensure seamless handoff to technical execution teams.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and secure buy-in for new data governance initiatives through compelling proposals.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM) with deep expertise in SAP MDG.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Central Finance (CFIN) and its integration with MDG.
• Proven ability to define data governance rules, standards, and quality metrics.
• Expertise in documenting complex functional requirements and presenting them to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration to bridge business strategy and technical execution.
• Ability to translate complex MDM lifecycles and business reasons into actionable governance strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in pure governance workflow design within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong track record of advancing initiatives from concept to approval through stakeholder engagement.
