Description

You will lead SAP MDG implementations, focusing on process design, configuration, and environment setup across development, test, and production landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure SAP MDG solutions for Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance domains.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and prepare business blueprint documents and functional specifications.
• Execute data model enhancements, functional validation, and BRFplus and UI enhancements.
• Develop proof of concepts for new functional requirements and demonstrate them to business teams.
• Create integration test plans involving MDG, Data Services, Information Steward, and ECC backends.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in SAP MDG implementation with a proven track record of at least 3 end-to-end implementations.
• Experience with 2 SAP S/4HANA migrations or implementations.
• Expertise in SAP MDG EhP6 and versions 8.0, 9.0, or 1909.
• Hands-on experience with Data Model Enhancement, Data Transfer (DIF/DEF), Data Replication Framework (DRF), and BRFplus.
• Proficiency in configuring rule-based workflows and UI modeling, including value restrictions and navigation elements.
• Experience integrating SAP MDG with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA On-premise, and SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
• Knowledge of BAdIs for enhancing standard MDG functionality to meet custom requirements.
• Strong understanding of SAP ERP logistics, specifically within SD or MM modules.
• Competency in process modeling involving SOA services, ALE connections, and key/value mapping.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP DQM and Master Data Consolidation.
• Knowledge of SAP FICO, SD, and MM functional modules.
