Lead SAP MM workstreams within an Aerospace & Defense environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from business process owners using Business-Driven Configuration Assessment questionnaires.
• Plan and build workshop materials, including system demos, presentation decks, and process flows.
• Manage configuration, documentation, and key decision logs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Execute material master mapping and conversion from legacy systems to SAP, including troubleshooting.
• Author functional specifications and manage authorization, security, and test planning for standard and custom objects.

Required Skills

• 5-15 years of experience in SAP MM roles.
• Extensive experience in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Deep understanding of Material Master structure, key fields, and setup for various business scenarios.
• Expertise in Material Master Management within the Production Planning (MFG) module.
• Experience working with Document Info Records and underlying document management systems.
• Proven ability in functional specification authoring and change management reporting.
• Knowledge of classification, characteristics, and material data governance.

Preferred Skills

• Functional experience with Material Data Governance (MDG).
• Understanding of product interchangeability (FFFC) and supersession concepts.
