Description

Lead SAP MM functional workstreams within the Aerospace & Defense sector, covering requirement gathering, configuration, and master data conversion.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering sessions using Business-Driven Configuration Assessment questionnaires.
• Design and deliver Workshop A deliverables, including system demos, configuration docs, process flows, and test planning.
• Manage end-to-end mapping and conversion of material masters from legacy systems to SAP.
• Oversee Material Master Management following SAP Best Practices within the Production Planning module.
• Author functional specifications and manage key decision documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SAP MM functional roles.
• Direct experience working within the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Deep understanding of material master structure, key fields, and master data setup.
• Proven ability to handle material master conversion and troubleshooting from legacy systems.
• Experience working with Document Info Records and document management systems.
• Proficiency in classification and characteristics management.
• Ability to manage requirements, configuration, authorization, security, and change management.

Preferred Skills

• Functional experience with SAP Material Data Governance (MDG).
• Knowledge of product interchangeability (FFFC) and supersession concepts.
