Description

Architect and oversee complex SAP production scheduling solutions for the Aerospace & Defense industry.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect Master Production Scheduling (MPS) frameworks for complex manufacturing environments.
• Design scheduling logic for multiple models on single production lines and across multiple plants.
• Configure scheduling parameters for forward and backward scheduling by positions, sections, and manufacturing stations.
• Optimize production workflows involving Rate, Takt, Positions, and Shop Floor management.
• Manage scheduling requirements for spares and MRO alongside primary production lines.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of SAP experience.
• Expertise in Master Production Scheduling (MPS).
• Deep understanding of A&D industry schedulers.
• Experience with Final Assembly and Complex Manufacturing Parameter Effectivity.
• Proficiency in Project Systems and Logistics functionality including Networks, Reference Pointers, and BoM-PS Explosion.
• Knowledge of Flat MBom with Installation Part (MPS Part), Reference Pointers, and Phantom (Boeing ACC or ACCP) Effectivity.
• Experience with Sales Order for End Item and MRP simulation.
• Competency in Capacity Planning and STO for multi-plant programs.
• Ability to manage Out the Door (OTD) and Entry into Service (EIS) scheduling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with re-firing of schedules in complex production environments.
