Description

You will design and configure SAP Payroll systems to meet functional requirements. You own the implementation of functional solutions, creating design documents, process diagrams, and training materials for business partners. You diagnose system issues, define workarounds, and maintain reporting metrics to ensure SLA achievement. You also propose technical solutions to resolve complex operational problems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement functional solutions for SAP Payroll systems based on business partner requests.
• Create functional design documents, system reference guides, process diagrams, and training materials.
• Define workaround processes and corrective actions to solve complex system operation issues.
• Maintain reporting metrics and procedure documentation to ensure consistent problem handling and SLA achievement.
• Diagnose system issues and propose technical solutions to maintain domain expertise.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of configuration experience in SAP ECC Payroll.
• Hands-on experience with PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules) and Schemas.
• Functional application knowledge of SAP Payroll and US Tax models.
• Experience working within Agile processes and DevOps practices.
• Ability to draft and formalize technical documentation and process workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a Finance or Accounting emphasis, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

• 8+ years of configuration experience in SAP ECC Payroll and SAP Configuration certifications.
• Proficiency in payroll clusters, off-cycle payments, 3rd party remittance, benefits, and garnishments.
• Experience with ECC 6.0 Enhancement Pack, Netweaver, JavaScript, IDoc, SDLC, and BSI/EPI-Use software.
