Description

You will define, develop, and apply performance and scalability benchmarks for SAP applications.

Responsibilities

  • Identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis using various profiling tools.
  • Devise and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes.
  • Plan and execute performance tests within automated testing environments and analyze results.
  • Participate in architecture and design reviews to own the quality perspective of complex solutions.
  • Work in cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system scalability.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
  • Proven experience in performance testing of SAP applications.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, or C++.
  • Hands-on experience with LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, or Postman.
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL query performance tuning.
  • Extensive experience with JVM tuning techniques.
  • Experience using application performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace or AppDynamics.
  • Competency in data analysis, visualization, and end-to-end performance testing.

Preferred Skills

  • Expertise in performance assessment and optimization on the SAP BTP platform.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, Kibana, or HANA DB cockpit.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Git, and Big O notation.
