Description

You will own performance engineering and scalability analysis for software applications and SAP technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and apply performance and scalability benchmarks.
• Characterize, debug, and improve system performance within cross-functional teams.
• Use profiling tools to identify bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis.
• Devise and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance impact of system changes.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews to own the quality perspective of complex solutions.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in performance engineering and testing, specifically avoiding pure SAP Tester profiles.
• Hands-on experience with SAP application performance testing.
• Strong knowledge of JVM tuning techniques.
• Expertise in performance-tuning SQL queries.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with application performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or AppDynamics.
• Experience with performance testing tools including LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, or Postman.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages: Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, or C++.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with emerging technologies like SAP BTP.
