Description

You will characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability within SAP environments.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and apply performance and scalability benchmarks.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis using profiling tools.
• Devise and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes.
• Plan and execute performance tests within automated testing environments.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews to own quality perspectives for complex solutions.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
• Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications, including Brown or Green field S/4 HANA implementations.
• Proficiency with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, or Postman.
• Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages: Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, or C++.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture, RESTful APIs, and performance-tuning SQL queries.
• Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques.
• Experience using application performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace or AppDynamics.
• Knowledge of relational database systems and in-memory databases.
• Experience in data analysis, visualization, and end-to-end performance analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in performance assessment of SAP BTP platform components including APIM, SAP Integration Suite, CAI, and Data Intelligence.
• Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
