Description

Lead SAP Plan-to-Procure solution architecture with a primary focus on Master Production Scheduling within the Aerospace & Defense industry.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design scheduling logic for Rate, Takt, Positions, Manufacturing Stations, and Shop Floors.
• Architect complex scheduling scenarios, including multiple models on a single production line.
• Manage scheduling for spares and MRO alongside primary production requirements.
• Coordinate multi-line and multi-plant scheduling strategies, including STO handling for programs.
• Optimize production timelines using forward and backward scheduling by positions, sections, and stations.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of SAP experience.
• Expertise in Master Production Scheduling (MPS) is mandatory.
• Deep understanding of A&D industry schedulers and production line logic.
• Proficiency in SAP Final Assembly and Complex Manufacturing.
• Experience with Parameter Effectivity and Project Systems.
• Knowledge of Logistics functionality including Networks, Reference Pointers, and BoM-PS Explosion.
• Hands-on experience with Flat MBoM, Installation Parts (MPS Part), and Phantom parts.
• Ability to manage Out the Door (OTD) and Entry into Service (EIS) metrics.
• Competency in MRP simulation and Capacity Planning.
