Description

You will serve as the SAP PPDS Consultant supporting an automotive client in Detroit, MI.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead PP/DS planning processes, including demand planning, heuristics, rapid planning matrix, model mix planning, sequencing, and capacity planning (line balancing).
• Execute REM aspects in PP/DS, covering planning board usage, planned order management, staging, backflushing, and reporting points.
• Set up and manage integrated master data, including location, product master, resources, and PDS.
• Oversee CIF Management for S/4HANA & PP/DS data synchronization and troubleshoot issues.
• Integrate SAP iPPE for BOM, routing, production version, and factory layout management.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of SAP Manufacturing experience, focused on PP-DS.
• 2+ years of experience in the Automotive industry.
• At least 2 years of S/4HANA expertise.
• Proficiency in PP/DS data synchronization.
• Experience with troubleshooting complex system issues.
• Knowledge of SAP Engineering Change Management for BOM and routing.
• Ability to handle and support heavy customizations within SAP PP/DS.
