Description

You will act as the functional resource for SAP planning and supply chain modules, owning system configurations and technical analysis for production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, specify, and configure SAP processes, moving changes from design through to production.
• Perform technical mapping and gap analysis to recommend solutions for business requirements.
• Write detailed functional specifications for WRICEF (workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms) at a level suitable for ABAP development.
• Provide level 2 and 3 support for production systems and project implementations.
• Review changes made by project resources to ensure conformance to established standards and perform peer reviews for other functional analysts.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) within S/4HANA (2021 or older) or APO.
• Extensive experience with embedded PP/DS, including planned/production orders, standard/custom heuristics, and capacity plans.
• Hands-on experience with Master Data management (Routings, BOMs, Production Versions, and Configurable materials).
• Proven track record of three full-cycle implementations from blueprint to go-live.
• Ability to perform ABAP debugging and technical mapping.
• Experience with SAP VC/Dependencies and interfaces using IDOCs and Production Appointments.
• Knowledge of Embedded Analytics, CDS Views, and Hana Live.
• Experience with SAP version upgrades and systems design/analysis.
• Ability to integrate SAP with middleware such as IBM IIB.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working within the steel industry.
