Description

Own SAP PP/DS solutions for discrete manufacturing, specifically automotive. Implement and optimize production planning and detailed scheduling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP PP/DS implementation projects, ensuring successful deployment of production planning solutions.
• Configure and optimize PPDS Setup Optimizer and develop PPDS BAdi enhancements to meet business requirements.
• Design interactive production planning, detailed scheduling, pegging, and constraint-based planning models.
• Implement Multi-Level Constraint-based Production Plans, Sub-daily Buckets, and Telescopic Time Buckets.
• Integrate cross-location planning and automated responses to changes in planning situations.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in SAP Production Planning and Detail Scheduling (PP/DS).
• Proven track record with at least one full SAP PP/DS implementation lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with PPDS Setup Optimizer implementation.
• Strong proficiency in PPDS BAdi enhancements and customization.
• Deep knowledge of interactive production planning, pegging, planning boards, and model mix planning.
• Experience with E2E supply chain processes including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with Time Dependent Safety Stock and multilevel scheduling concepts.

Preferred Skills

• APO ABAP development experience.
• 10–15 years of domain experience in Automotive or Discrete Manufacturing.
