Key Skills: SAP FICO, Program Management

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end SAP project and program management for assigned IT initiatives from planning through successful delivery.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and quality to ensure successful execution.
  • Drive SAP implementation, migration, rollout, and conversion projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to define project goals and deliverables.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities for business growth within existing accounts.
  • Lead SAP project teams and provide guidance, mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Oversee financial management of projects including budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and cost control.
  • Identify project risks and issues proactively and implement mitigation strategies to minimize business impact.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and escalations effectively to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with project governance standards, methodologies, and SAP best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain project management documentation using SAP standard templates and tools.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage scope changes, resource allocation, and delivery expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote standardized project management processes.
  • Support data governance initiatives and ensure implementation of best practices across SAP platforms.
  • Deliver projects within agreed schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Travel to customer locations as required based on project needs.

Skills Required:

  • 10 to 15 years of overall experience in SAP.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP Project Management or Program Management.
  • Experience managing 3-5 end-to-end SAP implementation projects as Project Lead or Project Manager.
  • Experience in at least one SAP conversion project with strong knowledge of RISE with SAP.
  • Hands-on functional consulting experience in at least one SAP module such as FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, WM, PM, PS, or EWM.
  • Strong expertise in SAP implementation methodologies and project lifecycle management.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or transformation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, estimation, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management, customer engagement, and executive communication.
  • Ability to manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and profitability.
  • Strong risk management, issue resolution, and escalation management skills.
  • Experience in leading geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, coaching, and team management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Strong executive presence with customer-facing experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
  • PMP certification or SAP Activate certification is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel based on project requirements.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • SAP Activate Certification and/or PMP Certification is an added advantage
