Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Governance

Define and own the overall test strategy for SAP transformation or rollout programs
Establish test governance, standards, metrics, and reporting mechanisms
Align test strategy with business, IT, and program objectives

Program-Level Test Management

Manage multi‑track and multi‑phase testing (SIT, UAT, Regression, Integration, Cutover)
Coordinate testing across SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, HCM) and non‑SAP systems
Ensure alignment with program milestones and release plans

Team Leadership & Vendor Management

Lead and mentor test managers, leads, and large offshore/onshore test teams
Manage SI partners, vendors, and third‑party test providers
Resolve conflicts and ensure cross‑team collaboration

Test Execution Oversight

Oversee test planning, test data management, defect management, and environment readiness
Monitor defect trends, risks, and dependencies; drive resolution and quality improvement
Ensure entry/exit criteria are met for each test phase

Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary testing interface for business, program leadership, and IT teams
Provide executive‑level status reporting, dashboards, and quality metrics
Conduct test sign‑off and quality readiness assessments

Tools & Automation

Govern the use of test management tools (e.g., SAP Solution Manager, Tricentis, ALM, Jira)
Oversee test automation strategy, adoption, and ROI tracking

Risk & Quality Management

Identify, track, and mitigate testing and quality‑related risks
Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and documentation requirements
Support go‑live readiness, hypercare, and post‑deployment quality validation


Required Skills & Experience
Core Skills

8–15+ years of experience in SAP testing and quality assurance
Strong experience leading SAP S/4HANA or ECC large programs
Deep understanding of SAP business processes and module integrations
Expertise in test lifecycle management at program level
Technical & Functional Knowledge
SAP modules: FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM (based on program scope)
Integration testing with middleware and third‑party systems
Test tools: SAP Solution Manager, Tricentis Tosca, ALM, Jira
Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models
