Description

Implement and optimize SAP RAR solutions to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and IFRS 15 standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure SAP RAR solutions by translating accounting standards and business requirements into system functionality.
• Manage intercompany processes, revenue recognition, and service costs within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Oversee service order management, cost accounting, and margin analysis for service-related revenue and costs.
• Lead the implementation of internal controls, financial reporting, and audits to meet corporate and legal standards.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and optimize revenue accounting processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total experience working with SAP.
• 5+ years of specific experience in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
• Expertise in configuring and supporting SAP RAR within SAP S/4HANA.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and IFRS 15 accounting standards.
• Strong understanding of intercompany accounting and service revenue/cost management.
• Familiarity with SAP FICO modules, specifically revenue recognition and cost accounting.
• Knowledge of SAP RAR integration with SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management).
• Proficiency in margin analysis, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
