Description

You will manage the end-to-end release lifecycle for SAP core and global applications during a major upgrade and tool implementation.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end release calendar, annual release plan, and delivery of medium and major releases.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimization of the release management process to ensure smooth deployment of IT changes.
• Manage release and freeze planning in alignment with major organizational releases.
• Control the landscape and environment through rigorous change management practices.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Release Manager for an SAP landscape, specifically with ECC or S/4HANA.
• Direct experience managing SAP upgrade projects.
• Strong change management expertise with the ability to control complex environments.
• Ability to work within EST or CST time zones to coordinate with European peers.
• Demonstrated leadership capability to drive processes without deferring to others.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP landscapes.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Active Control by Basis Technologies.
• Prior experience specifically within S/4HANA environments.
