Description

You will administer and maintain SAP systems within a private cloud environment, ensuring stability and performance across the landscape.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and administer SAP systems and databases in SAP RISE on IBM Cloud.
• Manage transport management, standard jobs, print management, and batch job scheduling using Opswise.
• Perform system integrations, migrations, client copies, and system refreshes.
• Apply core and security patches, remediate SAP-released vulnerabilities, and manage certificate renewals.
• Monitor and optimize SAP, HANA, and OS performance while troubleshooting complex application, database, and network issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP Basis Administrator in an S/4HANA private cloud.
• Strong knowledge of SAP technologies: S/4HANA, Fiori, PO/PI, BTP, BOBJ/AFO, DM, GRC, MDG, and BPC.
• Experience working with SAP RISE operations and managed service providers.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux administration, including Opswise agent installation.
• Database administration experience, specifically with SAP HANA.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across application, database, and network layers.
• Experience configuring cloud-to-cloud and non-SAP integrations (e.g., Esker, ZipHQ, Concur).
• Familiarity with SLD administration and technical object archiving.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations and upgrades in a managed service environment.
