Description

Lead the technical transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA by re-engineering custom ABAP code and building upgrade-safe services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Adapt existing custom ABAP code for compatibility with S/4HANA simplified data structures and programming models.
• Re-engineer code using clean-core principles and cloud-ready ABAP within S/4HANA.
• Leverage RAP, CDS, and AMDP frameworks to build upgrade-safe services and UIs.
• Interpret functional requirements, perform fit–gap analysis, and own end-to-end delivery.
• Shift selected components to SAP BTP using side-by-side extensibility when beneficial.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of SAP ABAP development experience in ECC.
• 7+ years of S/4HANA development experience.
• Expertise in ABAP with RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
• Proficiency with CDS views, OData, and performance-optimized data models.
• Experience with S/4HANA and SAP ABAP Development.
• Familiarity with UI5 development and integration patterns.
• Cloud experience.
