Description

You will lead solution architecture for SAP SD, focusing on development-heavy implementation and enhancement programs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern SD-related developments, including custom pricing logic, user exits, BADIs, and complex order processing scenarios.
• Define functional specifications for RICEFW objects and collaborate with ABAP teams on CDS views, OData services, and Fiori app extensions.
• Establish S/4HANA extensibility strategy, ensuring Clean Core alignment and appropriate use of BTP/CPI.
• Drive integration design with FI, MM, TM, EWM, and third-party systems such as 3PL and tax engines.
• Lead SIT/UAT cycles, perform defect triage, and support CR estimation within Agile delivery models.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of SAP SD experience with strong exposure to development-heavy projects.
• Hands-on experience working with ABAP teams on enhancements, custom builds, and code reviews.
• Deep understanding of SD exits, BADIs, and pricing routines.
• Proficiency with interface patterns including IDoc, OData, REST, and CPI.
• Experience in S/4HANA SD transformations involving custom extensions.
• Ability to act as a functional architect for SD developments, not just a configurator.
• Background in Big-4 or Tier-1 SI development programs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Fiori Elements and CDS-based analytics for SD.
• Exposure to SAP BRIM, Vistex, or complex pricing engines.
• Agile or product-oriented delivery experience.
