Description

You will own the end-to-end functionality and stability of SAP Sales and Distribution processes integrated with external trading partners via EDI.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP SD Order-to-Cash processes, covering sales orders, deliveries, billing, pricing, ATP, BOP, batch, HU management, and packaging.
• Design and support EDI flows for orders, confirmations, shipments/ASN, invoices, and inventory updates using X12 standards (850, 855, 856, 810, 846, 940/945).
• Configure and maintain EDI settings, including partner profiles, ports, RFC destinations, message types, and output determination.
• Troubleshoot IDocs using WE02, WE05, BD87, WE09, and WE19, driving resolution across functional, technical, and middleware teams.
• Prepare and maintain complete documentation, including functional specs, mapping specs, and end-to-end process flow diagrams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with SAP SD functional knowledge (Order-to-Cash, Pricing, ATP, HU management).
• Expertise with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, GS1) covering key message types (850, 855, 856, 810, 846, 940/945).
• Hands-on experience with SAP IDoc framework, including ORDERS05, INVOIC02, and custom Z-IDocs.
• Practical experience troubleshooting and monitoring IDocs within SAP.
• Knowledge of label and packaging flows, including SSCC and HU-based structures.
• Understanding of IDoc enhancement techniques (user exits, BADIs, custom segments).
• Familiarity with middleware/integration concepts (CPI/PIPO).
• Experience with SAP connection types (WE21, SM59) and strong documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of JSON-based interfaces, REST APIs, SOAP, or BAPI integrations.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or retail industries.
