Description

You will manage and maintain SAP server environments through lifecycle administration and advanced technical support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 3rd level technical support for server installations, maintenance, monitoring, and decommissioning.
• Perform daily compute operations including incident, change, and problem management following ITIL processes.
• Execute root cause analysis for customer incidents and document services, tasks, and testing results.
• Manage Linux patching using zypper and handle complex LVM, GRUB, and cluster configuration tasks.
• Automate repetitive tasks and provide technical knowledge transfer to 2nd level support teams.

Required Skills

• 7 to 12 years of experience in server management and administration.
• Profound Linux OS operations experience, including LVM management and GRUB configuration.
• Hands-on experience with SUSU Pacemaker clusters and troubleshooting cluster issues.
• Proficiency in Azure, GCP, or AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience configuring DNS for forward and reverse lookup zones.
• Administration of SAMBA, AUTOFS, CIFS, FTP, and user permissions.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices for incident, change, and problem management.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation, including weekends or holidays.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP environments.
