Description

Lead the implementation and support of SAP IS-U solutions for the Utilities industry, focusing on S/4 HANA and meter-to-cash functionality. You will serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert, guiding technical and functional teams through full-cycle deployments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy SAP IS-U solutions, including Customer Service, C4C Service Cloud, Device Management, AMI, and Billing.
• Drive functional configuration for FI-CA and SAP Financials, ensuring alignment with utility domain requirements like rates and billing logic.
• Manage and mentor direct reports and external consultants (IBM, PwC, HCL) to deliver high-quality implementation and support services.
• Provide strategic guidance on Cloud for Energy and Cloud for Utilities integrations.
• Own the release pipeline and resolve complex technical issues across the CIS and Billing systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total IT experience with a minimum of 7 years specifically in SAP Utilities (IS-U).
• Deep expertise in S/4 HANA Utilities and meter-to-cash processes.
• Proven full-cycle implementation experience in Electricity, Water, or Gas domains.
• Strong functional knowledge of billing, rates, and SAP configuration.
• Experience managing large teams of contractors and consultants.
• Ability to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding.

Preferred Skills

• Background with major service providers such as PwC, IBM, or HCL.
• Hands-on technical deployment experience with CIS systems.
