Description

You will design and implement technical architecture for SAP and non-SAP solutions within Azure and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design technical solutions by collaborating with SAP Basis, AppDev, Automation, Infrastructure, and Business Continuity teams.
• Interface with Enterprise Architecture and Information Security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Lead hands-on Proof-of-Concept projects to demonstrate architecture, cyber resiliency, and high availability.
• Create architecture diagrams, High-Level Designs (HLD), and Low-Level Designs (LLD).
• Perform solution costing using Azure Pricing Calculator and optimize costs across IaaS and PaaS environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical architecture roles.
• Deep knowledge of databases including Oracle, HANA, MSSQL, Azure SQL, Postgres, CosmosDB, or Aerospike.
• Experience with compute platforms such as VMWare, Kubernetes (AKS, OCP, Tanzu), and Docker.
• Strong infrastructure knowledge covering Compute, Network, Storage, Security, and HA/DR.
• Proficiency in Linux (SLEs/RHEL) and architecting HA setups using Linux Pacemaker for SAP HANA.
• Expertise in SAP networking, including Proxy, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, and Firewall/NSG rule management.
• Experience monitoring SAP and 3rd party solutions via SAP Solution Manager, SAP LVM, New Relic, Dynatrace, or Azure Monitor.
• Hands-on experience with Unix shell scripting, Python, Ansible AWX/Tower, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools including Nexus, Bitbucket, GitHub, Jira, and Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of data streaming and analytics tools like Kafka, Confluent, Azure Event Hub, Data Factory, Databricks, or BigQuery.
• Experience with SAP Data Intelligence and SAP DataSphere.
