Description

Design and develop extensions on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry) using CAP and SAP HANA Cloud.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build clean core–compliant extensions for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud with strong governance.
• Model and implement data structures using CDS and expose APIs via OData/REST.
• Integrate SAP and third-party systems using SAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, and APIs.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Apply security best practices including authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in relevant technical roles.
• Deep expertise in SAP BTP services, including Cloud Foundry, CAP, and SAP HANA Cloud.
• Proven experience with clean core development principles for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Strong CDS modeling skills.
• Proficiency in Node.js/JavaScript or Python for cloud application development on BTP.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 and integration with backend services via OData and REST.
• Working knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, and Groovy scripting.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or SAP CI/CD services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience connecting CAP applications with SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA Cloud.
