Description

Owns the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Treasury and Investment Management solutions, specifically investment functionality. Translates complex business requirements into functional design specifications and business blueprint documents. Coordinates with ABAP, BASIS, and development teams to build custom features and ensure proper testing and release management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and translate daily, monthly, and year-end activities into detailed functional requirements and prototypes.
• Develop high-quality business blueprint documents and functional design specifications to guide configuration and custom development.
• Configure SAP investment functionality and collaborate with technical teams to integrate bank interfaces and financial institution connections.
• Coordinate with STO and SCEIS teams to define technical requirements, create test environments, and manage the release process to production.
• Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to IT and business users, ensuring they can maintain functionality, reporting solutions, and data structures post-engagement.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience implementing SAP, with at least 4 large-scale implementations of Investment Management.
• Proven experience in the public sector (state, federal, or county organizations) is mandatory.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Treasury Management, including Cash Management and Debt Management disciplines.
• Expertise in creating interfaces with banks and other financial organizations.
• Strong understanding of reporting, analytics principles, and tools (e.g., SAP BusinessObjects universes) for investment dashboards.
• Ability to create comprehensive business blueprint documents and functional design specifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting data flow, data quality, and reporting teams to improve data accuracy.
