You manage the lifecycle of SAS Viya deployments in containerized environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain SAS Viya components within OpenShift, managing storage, networking, and security.
• Integrate SAS Viya deployments with CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Configure Security Context Constraints (SCCs) in OpenShift to grant necessary permissions for SAS Viya services.
• Monitor SAS Viya and OpenShift environments, implementing solutions to optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot issues across SAS Viya and OpenShift, identifying root causes and implementing fixes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with SAS Viya 4.0, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, or GCP.
• 4+ years of hands-on production experience troubleshooting SAS Viya and its management tools.
• 3+ years of production experience administering core SAS Viya.
• 3+ years of production experience deploying SAS Viya Applications in OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• 3+ years of production experience setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong technical experience in a Linux environment.
• Hands-on experience with shell scripting.
• Experience configuring SAS for High Availability within a GRID environment, including Metadata Server.
