Description

You will own the administration, optimization, and support of enterprise SAS platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SAS 9.x and SAS Viya across development, test, and production environments.
• Manage user access, security roles, and permissions, integrating with LDAP and Active Directory.
• Monitor system health, tune performance, and manage batch job scheduling using enterprise schedulers.
• Implement backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
• Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot failures, and drive automation via scripting.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience as a SAS Administrator in enterprise settings.
• Strong administration experience with SAS 9.x platform.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration.
• Hands-on experience managing SAS security, metadata, and user access.
• Experience with job scheduling and workload management tools.
• Scripting proficiency in Shell, Python, and PowerShell for automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAS Viya on Kubernetes.
• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code concepts or CI/CD pipelines.
