Description

You will manage and maintain SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya environments to support business requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and configure SAS solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Monitor SAS servers, logs, and processes to proactively resolve performance bottlenecks and system failures.
• Implement security protocols including encryption, authentication, and authorization to meet compliance standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams and data scientists to support ETL processes, data integration, and reporting tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SAS administration.
• Expertise in both SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya environments.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with SAS Grid Manager, SAS Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, and SAS Visual Analytics.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for SAS Viya deployments.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration.
• Experience with database connectivity including Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, and Hadoop.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing standard operating procedures and maintaining detailed environment documentation.
