Description

You administer the SAS Grid-enabled EBI n-tiered architecture across RHEL, IIS, and Windows environments, supporting 8,000 end users.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop RHEL scripts and schedules to support business intelligence needs.
• Administer SAS platforms (9.x and Viya 3.5/4), including grid architecture installation and problem determination.
• Provide technical consulting and support to a large user base, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Manage data source integrations including DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop, Dremio, and Starburst.
• Handle IT service tickets using ServiceNow or Jira, following documented procedures and escalating appropriately.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in SAS platform administration (SAS 9.x or Viya).
• Deep expertise in SAS Grid architecture, installation, and configuration.
• Strong proficiency with UNIX/Linux command line, file systems, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with Python scripting for automation and support tasks.
• Working knowledge of data sources: DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access, MS Excel, and Hadoop.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
• Excellent communication skills and patience for supporting users of varying expertise levels.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with SAS Viya 3.5 and SAS Viya 4 environments.
• Familiarity with IIS and Windows client/server environments.
