Description

Manage SAS administration for a Grid-enabled EBI n-tiered architecture across RHEL, IIS, and Windows environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop RHEL scripts and schedules to support 8,000 end users.
• Administer SAS platforms including SAS 9.x and Viya (3.5/4).
• Perform problem determination, apply best practices, and guide coding techniques.
• Handle ITSM tickets (ServiceNow/Jira) with clear communication and appropriate escalation.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in SAS platform administration.
• Deep knowledge of SAS Grid architecture, installation, and management.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux command line and file systems.
• Experience with data sources: DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access, MS Excel, Hadoop, Dremio, Starburst.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Shell or Python.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow and Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with SAS Viya 3.5 and SAS Viya 4.
• Exposure to SAS Visual Analytics (VA).
