Description

Manage and optimize SAS Grid computing environments across on-premises and cloud platforms. You will own the technical design, capacity planning, and operational stability of grid infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical infrastructure solutions, including capacity planning for SAS Grid and related platforms.
• Provide operational support, monitoring, and troubleshooting for big data and cluster computing environments.
• Identify and resolve issues related to SAS code, logic, and underlying infrastructure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and implement system improvements.
• Apply industry best practices for security, standards, policies, and procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure roles.
• Strong expertise in Unix and AutoSys.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting.
• Experience with hardware components, including storage and servers.
• Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and IP configurations.
• Experience with operating systems, virtualization, and containers.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical infrastructure solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SAS Grid infrastructure, including SAS Server, Job, and Scheduling.
• Experience with LSF scheduling.
