Description

You will manage the installation, maintenance, and operational support of the SAS EBI 9.x platform within a GRID setup.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SAS platform security and support underlying infrastructure, including OS, storage, web, and database layers.
• Manage SAS queues, job prioritization, thresholds, and overall analytics platform health.
• Act as a liaison between SAS developers and enterprise infrastructure teams to deliver performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
• Support platform tenants and users while providing technical feedback for continuous platform improvement.
• Develop detailed technical documentation for all administrative processes and system configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years administering SAS GRID environments and the SAS EBI platform.
• 5+ years implementing and administering SAS BI, DI, and Analytics.
• 5+ years working with the IBM AIX operating system.
• 4+ years with relational databases or SAS Scalable Performance Data Server (SPDSS).
• 3+ years with JBoss, Apache, and Spring TC.
• 3+ years supporting SAS data sourcing and reporting deliveries.
• Proficiency in infrastructure server, database, and network management.
• Experience with System Z - Sas.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Tableau, IBM Cognos, or SAP Business Objects.
