Description

You will lead the migration of SAS Enterprise Guide data and workflows into a Microsoft Fabric architecture.

Responsibilities

• Assess the current SAS EG environment, data flows, and dependencies.
• Define the migration roadmap to Microsoft Fabric, including risks and mitigation strategies.
• Design end-to-end data architecture leveraging Microsoft Fabric components.
• Lead the migration of SAS EG jobs, macros, and stored processes into Fabric pipelines.
• Implement data governance, lineage, and cataloguing within Fabric.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Base, and SAS Macros.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI).
• Solid understanding of data migration methodologies and ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or PySpark for data engineering tasks.
• Experience with cloud platforms, Azure preferred.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and security frameworks.
• 15+ years of working experience.
• Any Graduate education.
