Description

You will develop and support SAS Teradata environments, focusing on enhancements to existing jobs, stored procedures, and campaign management reports.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Enhance existing SAS Teradata jobs and stored procedures.
• Develop new reports for campaign and customer management.
• Prepare data for campaign delivery through SAS processes.
• Execute tasks within a structured Agile lifecycle, including test data preparation and result validation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in SAS development.
• High-level SQL skills, including experience with Temporal Tables.
• Teradata database knowledge and experience as a SAS developer.
• Deep understanding of ETL processing, logic, and batch processing.
• Expertise in ETL data change strategies (Type 1, Type 2, and versioning with data synchronization).
• Proficiency in SAS functionality: Pass-thru SQL, Proc, Data Steps, and SAS Macros.
• Experience with Base SAS code and SAS Enterprise Guide.
• Experience with BitBucket, Jenkins, and build/deploy processes.

Preferred Skills

• Query performance tuning.
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Familiarity with making web calls to RESTful APIs using Postman or similar tools.
