Description

You will own the migration of legacy SAS processes to Py Spark.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SAS programs to map data sources, dependencies, and data flow.
• Sanitize and optimize SAS code for conversion into modern formats.
• Use accelerators to convert SAS programs to Py Spark and document code lineage.
• Unit test generated Py Spark programs and incorporate integration testing feedback.
• Manage the migration of SAS Jobs, Stored Procedures, Programs, and Datasets to Production.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with SAS Base programming.
• Proficiency in Py Spark development and SQL.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and Data Architecture.
• Understanding of big data processing and distributed computing systems like Spark.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for data manipulation.
• Knowledge of Stored Procedures and Data Modelling concepts.
• Experience analyzing SAS processes and statistical methods.
