Description

You will develop, test, and document programming for assigned applications to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements to design scalable, component-based model development frameworks.
  • Write, debug, and document customized SAS code to satisfy functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with database, core, and cloud teams to resolve product issues.
  • Lead and mentor the model development team within a high-pressure delivery environment.
  • Partner with QA to define test plans and execute Level-one feature tests.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience as an Application Developer focused on SAS programming and data analytics.
  • Expertise in Base SAS programming.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAS Macro programming.
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise Miner.
  • Experience with Unix file-systems and Unix Shell Scripting.
  • Ability to create new code from scratch rather than just maintaining existing code.
  • Strong data analytics skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Skills

  • Master's degree in Computer Science.
