Description

You will own the migration of data workflows from SAS to Python and maintain the underlying infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Convert existing SAS workflows into functional Python implementations.
• Develop and manage ETL processes within AWS environments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Create and utilize APIs for software development and programming tasks.
• Drive code reviews to ensure adherence to user stories and architectural patterns.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud-based technology services.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including Pandas, NumPy, and Boto3.
• Expertise in SAS programming and workflow conversion.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: S3, Redshift, RDS, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, ECS, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager.
• Proficiency with data formats: JSON, PARQUET, XML.
• Experience with CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, Jenkins, GITLab, and Terraform.
• Strong command of SQL and data warehousing concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Proven ability in data engineering and data security practices.
