Description

You will develop, maintain, and support SAS programs and macros in a Mainframe batch environment, while leading migration efforts to cloud technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support SAS programs and macros within a Mainframe batch environment.
• Analyze existing SAS Mainframe code and build requirements to migrate legacy solutions to cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAS analytical and reporting solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot production issues, performing root cause analysis and documenting findings.
• Write clean, documented SAS code and rewrite legacy programs or macros for technical improvement.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Expertise in SAS Mainframe programming and batch environments.
• Proficiency in Business Analysis to translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions.
• Demonstrated programming skills with a focus on clean, documented code.
• Strong communication capabilities for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Experience with root cause analysis and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to migrate legacy code to modern cloud-based architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud migration projects and technologies.
