Description

You will lead the installation, configuration, and migration of SAS 9.4m8 from on-premises Windows and Linux servers to a single AWS production instance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the migration of SAS assets, metadata, users, and file system content to AWS.
• Install and configure SAS 9.4m8 with HTTPS and required hot fixes on RHEL 7.0.
• Create Pre-Installation Requirements Documents and manage project kickoff activities.
• Configure SAS/Access to PC File formats and SAS Metadata Libraries.
• Resolve troubleshooting issues during UAT and complete Safeguards SCSEM Cloud 7.0 checklists.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in SAS installation and migration services.
• Strong expertise with SAS 9.4m8 configuration and components.
• Proven experience deploying SAS environments on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with RHEL 7.0 and Linux environments.
• Ability to migrate data and assets from Windows and Linux on-prem servers.
• Experience configuring HTTPS for secure communications.
• Knowledge of UAT processes and issue resolution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAS Forecast Server (excluding unused components).
• Familiarity with Safeguards SCSEM Cloud 7.0 documentation.
