Description

You will manage and maintain SAS platforms across on-premises and AWS cloud environments. You will own the release pipeline, ensuring stability and performance for critical data systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and patch SAS software, including applying licenses and hotfixes on client servers.
• Provision user and group profiles and manage Data Libraries via SAS Management Console.
• Execute migrations from on-premises to cloud and cloud-native architectures.
• Provide Tier 3 operational support, troubleshooting P1/P2 incidents and manual or scheduled SAS job failures on Linux.
• Perform server provisioning, maintenance, hardening, and performance tuning for SAS servers on AWS and on-premises.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SAS Platform administration.
• Hands-on experience with RedHat Linux and Linux/Unix server configuration and maintenance.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).
• Experience with shell scripting using BASH or SH to automate processes and improve platform availability.
• Knowledge of databases including MySQL, Postgres, Hive, and Impala.
• Experience configuring ODBC drivers and data source connections at user and server levels.
• Ability to manage job scheduling and monitor critical jobs on RedHat systems.
• Experience using ServiceNow (SNOW) for incident and task management.
• Background in executing IQs, OQs, and data loads through Application Lifecycle Management tools.
