Description

You will develop and maintain performance-optimized SAS code for data processing and analysis.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient SAS code using the DATA step and SAS Macro language.
• Develop and execute SQL programming using PROC SQL or SQL pass-through.
• Maintain and optimize code for maximum performance and efficiency.
• Lead or participate in SAS knowledge-sharing activities within the team.
• Work independently on projects to deliver technical results.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in SAS and SQL programming.
• Proficiency in SAS Base Programming and the DATA step.
• Strong SQL programming skills.
• Experience with SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Studio.
• Experience using SAS Visual Analytics (VA).
• Working knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience with ETL processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant experience in the healthcare industry, specifically commercial or government sectors.
