You will support and maintain critical SAS data workflows, ensuring system stability and timely resolution of incidents.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Monitor scheduled jobs, troubleshoot failures, and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes for recurring issues to prevent future disruptions.
• Maintain and enhance existing SAS programs and ETL workflows to meet evolving business requirements.
• Collaborate with business users and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Document support procedures, job flows, and issue resolutions for knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in SAS support or data engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAS Base, SAS Macros, and SAS Enterprise Guide (EG).
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting for automation and environment management.
• Familiarity with SAS Grid for distributed processing and SAS Visual Analytics for reporting.
• Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience in incident, problem, and change management frameworks.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and handle on-call support responsibilities.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools beyond core SAS.
