Description

Provide development support for SAS Teradata environments, focusing on enhancements to existing jobs and stored procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance existing jobs, stored procedures, and SAS Base code.
• Build new development for campaign and customer management reports.
• Execute ETL processes to prepare data for campaign distribution.
• Manage the full development lifecycle, including preparing test data, creating test cases, and validating results.
• Operate within an Agile environment using JIRA Kanban boards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in SAS Teradata development.
• High proficiency in SQL, including experience with Temporal Tables.
• Expertise in SAS functionality: Pass-thru SQL, Proc, Data Steps, and SAS Macros.
• Extensive experience with Base SAS and SAS Enterprise Guide.
• Strong understanding of ETL processing, batch processing, and data change strategies (Type 1, Type 2, and versioning).
• Experience with BitBucket and Jenkins for build and deploy processes.
• Knowledge of job scheduling tools.
• Experience working with standard and versioned tables for data synchronization.

Preferred Skills

• Query performance tuning.
• Familiarity with SQL Server or making RESTful API calls via Postman.
• Experience with IWS job scheduling.
